It can be rewarding and enjoyable.
Horse experience is not essential.
For children and adults with both mental and physical disabilities, the Fort Centre provides free access to one of the few activities available for the disabled community.
The aim of the Fort Centre is to provide disabled people with an opportunity to experience horse-riding which can ultimately benefit health and wellbeing.
We work across the spectrum of disabilities, age range, social status, urban and rural environments, and we are always looking for new volunteers at the Centre.
